Julie Osborne ( Managing Director)

The Gleam Team was founded by Julie 23 years ago and has become a leading contract cleaning and janitorial supplies company in Dorset. Julie is “hands on” and has built up the company through her hard working and professional approach to business.  Many of the company’s contracts have been serviced by the Gleam Team for over 10 years with some  contracts running for over 20 years. Many staff members are long serving, reflecting the strong relationships that Julie has built and maintained over the years.

 

 

 

Teresa Mclaughlin (Works Manager)

Teresa has worked for the Gleam Team since 2006 and has the fundamental role of ensuring that the company’s high cleaning standards are maintained and monitored. Teresa undertakes weekly visits to the company’s contracts and supervises and trains the team of cleaners. Teresa’s enthusiasm for her job and her commitment to the Gleam Team have ensured that our clients and staff are kept happy.

 

 

Christine Whitfield (Office/Health and Safety Manager)

Christine joined the Gleam Team in March 2006 and is responsible for the smooth running of the office and administrative functions. This includes payroll, personnel and health and safety. Christine is fully experienced and is accredited with SAGE accounts (level 2) and  ITQ (level 2 and 3). Christine is also competent to advise on health and safety management having undertaken the IOSH Managing Safely training course.

 

 

 

Nikki Littlefair ( Business Development Manager)

Nikki recently joined the Gleam Team in order to further develop the contract cleaning business and build on the success that the company has already achieved. Nikki has over 20 years’ experience in sales, management and training. Her role also involves taking the company forward through the implementation of ISO 9001 and 14001 systems and CQC requirements in the primary care centres.

 

 

 

 

Susie Vaughan (Accounts Manager)

Susie joined the Gleam Team in July 2010 and is responsible for the Company Finances, including invoicing, sales and purchase ledger. Susie has over 10 years book keeping experience with various blue chip companies and has also undertaken work for the NHS as a financial administrator.

 

 

 

 

Mel Hiscock (Works Supervisor)

Mel has recently been promoted to works supervisor, having worked as a cleaner for the Gleam Team for over 20 years, with only a short maternity break during this time. As the company has expanded, Mel now works alongside Theresa ensuring that the company’s high cleaning standards are maintained and our staff and customers remain extremely satisfied.

 

 

Cleaning Staff

All our staff are uniformed, professionally trained and fully insured.  Many are trained to Level 2 NVQ in Cleaning and Support Services and hold CSCS Cards and all receive on-going training and support.  We value our staff and provide them with , monthly newsletters, team events and employee of the month award. All our staff are paid above the minimum wage.
